Every year around February or March Pen of Mercy invites Salman Khattak to teach Arabic and Western calligraphy workshops in Tampa and surrounding areas such as Orlando, Gainesville, and Panama City.

About Salman Khattak
As a naturally artistically talented boy, Salman started practicing the art of calligraphy since his teenage years. He started the serious study of both Western and Arabic Calligraphy fifteen years ago when he moved to Dubai and had an opportunity to attend a workshop in Arabic Calligraphy. Ever since then calligraphy and the art of calligraphy became Salman’s passion in life.
Originally from Pakistan, Salman lives in Toronto, Canada, where he is the Vice President of the Calligraphic Arts Guild of Toronto. Salman is also the founder of the Toronto Pen Company. Salman teaches both Arabic and Western calligraphy workshops and classes in Canada and the USA.
